Voters in Ward 4 will get a second chance to elect their new City Council representative on Dec. 3. The Brighton City Council voted 8-0 on Tuesday, Nov. 7 in favor of the resolution that certified the ballot content for the special run-off election in Ward 4.
The special mail ballot run-off municipal election will be between Adam Cushing and Christopher Schoeneck; the two candidates who received the most votes in the general election on Nov. 5.
Ballots will be mailed out no later than Nov. 18 and may be dropped off at the 24-hour ballot drop-box located in front of City Hall, 500 S. 4th Ave. up until 7 p.m. on Dec. 3. There will also be a box inside City Hall where residents may drop-off ballots during business hours. Finally, voters may obtain a new ballot or drop off their ballot at Eagle View Adult Center, 1150 Prairie Center Pkwy, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 3.
