Public Hearing: Mountain View Estates Planned Development Zone Change

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Brighton will hold a public hearing regarding the proposed Zone Change of the approximately 165.7 acres of property to be named the Mountain View Estates Planned Development. The Property is generally located to the north of Bridge St., south of Baseline Rd., west of Telluride St., and east of the Brighton Lateral Ditch. The request to rezone is to establish the Planned Development to better meet the intent of the existing, platted lots and to outline design and lot standards for future development, including the use of low water and xeric landscaping. There will be no change of use with the establishment of this Planned Development. The Property is located in a portion of the west half of Section 4, Township 1 South, Range 66 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, County of Adams, State of Colorado.
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a Zone Change at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022. The hearing will take place at in the Council Chambers on the first floor of Brighton City Hall, 500 S 4th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601. The Planning Commission will hear evidence from City staff, the applicant, and any interested parties and will make a recommendation to City Council on the application thereafter.
