Gear up for Bike Brighton’s 2022 Full Moon Bike Rides

FullMoonBikeRide

Tune up your bicycles for Bike Brighton’s 2022 Full Moon Bike Rides. The Pink Moon “Sunshine Ride” will kick off the 2022 schedule this Saturday, April 23. The free monthly community event is for bicyclists of all levels to enjoy a leisurely three to 10-mile ride through Brighton as the sun sets.

This year, Bike Brighton is implementing an advanced rider group and a recreational rider group for each Moon Bike Ride. Each group will have a different start time. Advanced riders are described as strong and fearless bicyclists or enthused and confident bicyclists. These are people who will ride regardless of road and weather conditions. This group of people uses riding for commuting and enjoys going at a faster speed. Recreational riders enjoy bicycling when they are confident in their safety or people who would enjoy bicycling if they felt safer doing it. The recreational rider likes the group setting, mostly trails and some bike lanes and ride slower than advanced riders.
