Starting on January 3, 2023, Brighton Municipal Court (3401 E. Bromley Lane) will return to in-person court sessions and normal public hours of Mondays - Fridays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Due to the pandemic in 2020, the Municipal Court was closed on Tuesdays and Fridays for virtual court. Virtual court will be permitted by request - please email municourt@brightonco.gov.

Court Amnesty Days in 2023 will be held from 8 - 10 a.m. on the following days: February 2, May 4, August 17 and November 2. A Court Amnesty Day is a warrant amnesty day. For example, if a defendant should have an active warrant with the court, they can come to the court without an appointment to discuss with the city prosecutor and the judge for a possible resolution to the case. Note: The listed Amnesty Days apply only to Brighton Municipal Court.
