The Brighton community is invited to attend the opening reception for the City’s Eye for Art 2023-2024 Winter Showcase at City Hall (500 S. 4th Avenue) on Friday, Dec. 1 from 6 - 8 p.m. Forty artists will be featured in the new exhibit, with artwork ranging in medium from vibrant oils, acrylics, inks, watercolors, graphite/color pencil, photography, fused glass, mixed media, jewelry, and more. Refreshments will be provided. Reservations are not required.
The exhibit will be open to the public from Nov. 20, 2023 – March 20, 2024 throughout the floors of City Hall. Artwork is available for purchase (excluding art labeled NFS).
The 2023-2024 Winter Showcase features artists Arc (Alirio Calderon), Sarah Bennett, Briana Brito Reynoso, Frank Carillo, Jamie Chihuan, Mona Fansher, David Fuehrer, Sarah Geraci, Terry Hagen, Edward Hansen, Kathleen Hansen, Mary Hansen, Andrea Hofmeister, Juanita Jackson, Bob Kagohara, Susan Kane, Mitzi King, Karen Kloberdans, Todd Kovach, Samantha Levanduski, Alana Lively, Claire Mannato, Linda Lee March, Kary Mayes, MJ Mccafferty, Chere Meckenstock, William Nicol, Carol Obenchain, Jameson Owens, Melania Popovici, Linda Reinert, David Richers, Frank Romero, Becky Silver, Kirk Stevens, Katrina Taylor, Pam Ware, Tammi Williams, Grace Yu, and Jamie Zerr-Lockwood.
