Free tree branch drop-off and free mulch pick-up is available to all Brighton residents at 295 W Brighton St, Brighton, CO 80601. As in 2024, access to drop-off branches or pick-up mulch will be limited to the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 8 a.m. to noon. Appointments are no longer accepted. Please remember:
- Proof of Brighton residency is required. Please bring a current Brighton utility bill and/or photo ID with current City of Brighton address.
- Tree and shrub limbs only. No leaves, grass clippings, lumber, or yard waste allowed. Tree stumps will only be accepted if they are free of dirt and rocks.
- Tree branches should be loose and not bundled or tied together. The branches go through a tub grinder and must be free of contaminates like string, wire, nails, etc. that can damage the equipment.
- You are required to unload your own branches and to load your own mulch. No equipment is available to assist.
- No contractors allowed.
