City announces winners of the 5th Annual Name That Snowplow contest
After a flurry of entries, the City of Brighton is pleased to announce the six winners of the fifth annual Name That Snowplow contest. The winning submissions will each name a snowplow for the 2025-2026 snow season.
The winning names and students:
- Nikola Snokić — Bryan Jones, Third Grader at South Elementary
- Man n’ Freeze — Ezra Robles, First Grader at Discovery Magnet
- Big Chungus — Jaeden Sanchez, Fifth Grader at Pennock Elementary
- Below Zero Hero — Nolan Williams, Kindergartener at homeschool
- Taylor Drift — Clara Bajadali, Third Grader at Foundations Academy
- Brr-ighton Sleigher — Lexi Mojardin, First Grader at Brantner Elementary
The winners were recognized by City Council at the Dec. 2 City Council meeting and were featured on a float at the 30th Annual Festival of Lights Parade on Dec. 13.
