Steps to apply for a solar permit:
- New and existing OpenGov users must apply for permits on the solar page. If you are a new user, please sign up, obtain your license, and begin your solar permitting process. For design criteria please visit the Codes and Information page.
- To request rough inspections:
Photographs of the following items shall be uploaded into OpenGov for inspection and approval:
- front of house and address
- roof flashing
- hold-downs
- rail system
- junction boxes
- bonding
- any required structural upgrades
Please request rough inspections through the portal. Required photos are only accepted by upload, do not submit photos as a link or zip file.
