Growing Grads: College and Career Readiness Kickoff
Calling all High School Juniors and Seniors! On October 15, 2019, we will be “kicking off” college application month with a college and career fair open to the public. Come meet with colleges, universities, technical education schools, and local scholarships. This is a great opportunity to figure out what your next steps after high school will entail. A financial aid presentation will be available in both English and Spanish. Come eat at a local food truck on us and bring your 2018 tax documents, we will have professionals on-site to help you start and or complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with hands-on assistance. To learn more about FAFSA visit their website.
The Kickoff is FREE, but we ask you to register in advance. Click here to register. Dinner from a food truck will be provided as well as childcare.

Growing Grads: FAFSA Workshops
The cost of attending a 4-year college, or technical education school is usually quite expensive, and therefore many people need to take out a loan to finance their education. While the FAFSA is necessary to complete, it can often be confusing. For this reason, the Office of Youth Services hosts FAFSA workshop nights where students and their families can receive free help from trained FAFSA professionals. Bring your 2018 tax documents and you can complete your FAFSA in one sitting! The dates for this year’s FAFSA workshops are listed below!
|Brighton High School||October 16th 5-7pm|
|Eagle Ridge Academy||October 23rd 5-7pm|
|Prairie View High School||November 5th 5-7pm|
|Front Range Community College- Brighton Campus||January 8th 5-7pm|
