Bookstore

The museum bookstore is open during normal museum hours. For your shopping convenience, cash, credit and debit are accepted for merchandise purchased at the bookstore.

News

The museum's new core exhibit is now open. "Splendid Valley and Brighton: Story of a Place" welcomes visitors with new artifacts and the rich history of the Brighton area along the South Platte River from the earliest times to today. Children's interactives and touchable artifacts allow you to connect to the past. Admission is by "pay as you will" donation.

Volunteer

The Brighton City Museum is always looking for volunteer help! From helping visitors, to research, and even collection project-based duties, you'll find our volunteers wear many hats!

Research

The Brighton City Museum features historical documents, photographs, videos, letters, diaries and other resources. In order to expedite your research request, please fill out the Research Request form and include a detailed description of your research needs.

We accept researchers by appointment only. Please contact Bill Armstrong at 303-655-2288 or warmstrong@brightonco.gov to schedule a time.

  • Oral Histories of Brighton contemporary citizens collected by Historic Preservation on various topics.
