City announces winners of fifth annual Name That Snowplow Contest

After a flurry of entries, the City of Brighton is pleased to announce the six winners of the fifth annual Name That Snowplow contest. The winning submissions will each name a snowplow for the 2025-2026 snow season. 

The winning names and students:  

  • Nikola Snokić — Bryan Jones, Third Grader at South Elementary
  • Mac n’ Freeze — Ezra Robles, First Grader at Discovery Magnet
  • Big Chungus — Jaeden Sanchez, Fifth Grader at Pennock Elementary
  • Below Zero Hero — Nolan Williams, Kindergartener at homeschool
  • Taylor Drift — Clara Bajadali, Third Grader at Foundations Academy
  • Brr-ighton Sleigher — Lexi Mojardin, First Grader at Brantner Elementary

The winners will be recognized by City Council at the Dec. 2 City Council meeting. The winners will also be featured on a float at the 30th Annual Festival of Lights Parade on Dec. 13.
