The City of Brighton’s annual Fourth of July festival will be returning to Carmichael Park (650 E. Southern Street) on Tuesday, July 4 at 5 p.m. The evening will feature live entertainment, starting with DJ Tidalwave, followed by a headliner performance at 7 p.m. by Those Crazy Nights - A Tribute to Journey. Once the concert concludes, attendees have the opportunity to view one of the largest fireworks displays in the region.
There will be children’s activities, including free face painting and a bubble tower. Food will be available for purchase through mobile vendors.
To ensure a pleasurable experience, please consider bringing the following items:
- Blankets
- Lawn chairs
- Sunscreen
- Bug repellent
- Water
Please be courteous of parking in residential areas, property access and safety concerns, and heed to road restrictions (i.e. don’t block fire hydrants).
