Brighton City Museum will hold a tour & talk at Historic Pioneer Cemetery on Friday, July 14 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The event is part of the museum’s recurring Friday Historic Lecture Series.
Come learn the fascinating past of this small plot of history and discover the language of graveyard symbols and gravestones. Beverages will be provided. Pets should not be brought onto the cemetery grounds.
Directions to Pioneer Cemetery:
Take W. Bromley Lane west to Brighton Road.
Turn left onto Brighton Road and follow it south to 148th Avenue.
Turn right onto 148th Avenue and proceed to the easement road on the right.
The road is located just before the house on the right side.
Parking at the cemetery is permitted along the roadside of 148th Avenue, as well as on W. Bromley Lane.
